About Me
I’m Mike Roquemore and I have been developing websites for over 5 years now. I started FourSeventy in 2008 as a front
for my web development services. My passion for computers and
the internet goes back further to when I was 6 years old and received my first computer. I dived right in
learning DOS and Windows 95, moving up to Windows 98, Windows ME, and XP. From building my own computers to
repairing others I have gained knowledge of hardware and software interaction in computers and how everything works.
I started making websites in 2004 at first for myself, then friends, and now for people all around the world. Although many of my sites are no longer online, you can find a small selection in my portfolio. Due to some data loss I cannot show you all the work that I have done, but I am slowly rebuilding my portfolio.
The world of web design and development is complex with many various methods of displaying content and creating dynamic content. Technologies and methods can change overnight, and come and go, but rest assured I am constantly learning new practices and ideas.
I strive to put out clean and valid XHTML and CSS code, and to ensure that my websites operate the same in all browsers. Creating content that works across multiple operating systems and browsers can be complicated but rest assured I can do it.
